TurningPoint Gives Back
TurningPoint’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment is fundamental to our culture and our core values. To be a good corporate citizen, we believe our obligation is not just to our clients, candidates and employees, but also to the community in which we live and work.
We are committed to conducting business at the highest ethical standards, providing service and customized solutions that exceed client expectations, and making a positive social and environmental impact. Simply put, we subscribe to the “Profit and Purpose” philosophy of conducting business.
This commitment is evident in our collaboration with Junior Achievement of San Diego. TurningPoint is committed to donating 3% of our annual revenues to Junior Achievement each year.
Established back in 1919, Junior Achievement’s (JA) goal of providing financial responsibility, work readiness and entrepreneurship programs to San Diego youth is one that we strongly support.
From K-12, JA helps prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking in the workplace.
TurningPoint actively supports several JA programs including The Next Big Thing and the annual Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser. Additionally, TurningPoint President and Founder, Ken Schmitt, is a JA board member and is a JA classroom volunteer.
Our employees give generously of their talent, time, and compassion. They serve as volunteers in their communities and we embrace their enthusiasm. Below are just a few of the organizations where they make a positive impact:
