As the Director of Strategic Sales, you will work closely with pre-qualified and interested business owners, founders, CEOs and CMOs as an individual contributor, answering technical questions, hosting demos screen-shot presentations, negotiating new contracts, closing new business and ultimately onboarding new clients. Leveraging pre-set, qualified appointments, this newly created role will be charged with driving conversations with highly successful prospects who have expressed interest in learning about how they can increase their online lead generation and close rate. By engaging with business leaders and entrepreneurs, the Director of Strategic Sales will articulate the benefits and historical results of employing our clients exceptional, customized digital marketing solutions. Reporting to the Founders, the successful candidate will effectively nurture and grow their client base across the U.S.

In this role, you will
Proactively engage with prospective clients on a daily basis through technical, company-specific and metric-driven presentations online and via phone

Leveraging your personal experience and success as a top sales closer to convert engaged interested prospects into new clients

Utilize consultative sales techniques, thoroughly assess prospects current marketing initiatives, deficiencies and opportunities for improvement, ultimately crafting client-specific agreements that meet the unique needs of each prospect by granting them access to our clients fully vetted, award-winning, exclusive network of marketing agencies

Quickly respond to prospect inquiries and the handoff from the SVP Growth Strategies

Discuss specific marketing, lead generation, branding and social media strategies, ultimately securing signed contracts from interested and pre-screened prospects

Employ proven sales tactics that allow you to rely on your ability to think on your feet, react quickly in a fluid environment, and be prepared with compelling responses to prospect questions

Aggressively achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals measured by the number of prospects that move forward to the final phase and eventual signing with our client

Utilize SalesForce, summarizing activity and progress

Research markets and industries to understand competition, market trends, and consumer attitudes

You will excel in this role if you have
A background as a sales professional in the SaaS, Tech or marketing sector

A proven track record of converting prospects to clients in a timely efficient manner leveraging technology such as online demos, WebX and screen-shares

An Exceptional ability to listen and problem solve, with a history of uncovering pain points and unique hot buttons and responding by presenting relevant, specific and marketing-centric solutions

Minimum of 5+ years in business, ideally closing pre-qualified leads focused on business owners and C-level executives

Recent experience representing or selling a consultative service with a short-term sales cycle

A collaborative and engaging communication style that relies on your ability to be concise, direct and consultative, while demonstrating initiative, patience, and courtesy

Demonstrated history of working independently in a self-directed, fluid, fast-paced, metric-driven environment that encourages intellectual pushback

A passion for multi-tasking and a commitment to following through and following up

The fortitude and confidence to interact regularly with senior executives, business owners, CEOs, CMOs and their respective stakeholders

Problem-solving and analytical skills that equip you with a keen ability to interpret sales performance and market trend information
