Skills & Experience:
  • Prior Logistics & General Office experience
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning and execution of All Company Logistics –
    • Coordinate purchase order processing including order placement, shipping, PO flow and related logistics through invoicing. Includes but not limited to:
      • Familiar and comfortable in company ERP system (Net Suite or similar)
      • Coordinating and Scheduling Pick-Ups and deliveries
      • Monitoring all shipments within the US and overseas to insure product ships on time and arrives at customers door on time
      • Coordinate and handle all pre-ticketing, carton markings/pallet markings, and other order details for each customer and shipment
      • Working with US and China sourcing to make sure all information is accurate and on time (carton markings, samples, pre-tickets, etc.)
    • Assist in sourcing parts and products (import and domestic)
    • Coordinating new and existing brokers/ carriers including researching; quoting and on-boarding
    • Coordinate with Order flow – parts; products; production
    • EDI (Electronic Data Interchange System) - handling all components of EDI from customer PO to Invoice (as needed)
    • Position also includes: New Account set-up; Vendor guidelines; FDA compliance, FedEx
    • Vendor and Customer service support
  • General Office management and duties
    • First phone contact responsibility
    • Manage shipments to and from offices – FedEx; UPS; USPS; Lab Samples, etc.
    • Order Office Supplies as needed
  • Proficient and comfortable in all aspects of Computer use including – Microsoft Office 365; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Web navigation, ERP experience (Net Suite); EDI
