TurningPoint’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment is fundamental to our culture and our core values. To be a good corporate citizen, we believe our obligation is not just to our clients, candidates, and employees, but also to the community in which we live and work.
We are committed to conducting business at the highest ethical standards, partnering with clients that make a positive impact. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are of the utmost importance to our team, and as such, we take additional steps to present our clients with a diverse slate of candidates for each executive search we conduct. Simply put, we subscribe to the “Profit and Purpose” philosophy of conducting business.
This commitment is evident in our collaboration with Junior Achievement of San Diego. TurningPoint is committed to donating 3% of our annual revenues to Junior Achievement each year. Established back in 1919, Junior Achievement’s (JA) goal of providing financial responsibility, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs to San Diego youth are one that we strongly support. From K-12, JA helps prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs that make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking in the workplace. TurningPoint actively supports several JA programs including The Next Big Thing. TurningPoint President, Ken Schmitt, is a JA classroom volunteer.
