YOUR 2016 SUMMER READING LIST
For most professionals, the long, lazy days of summer are a thing of the past. But not even the most important CEO can deny there is just something about summer that gives us permission to leave the office a little early on Friday or even procrastinate a bit.
You might find it surprising to know that many professionals use the summer months to jump start their job search or even explore some career development opportunities. In fact, here at TurningPoint Executive Search, we have consistently experienced a slight up-tick in our numbers during Q3. Traditionally, networking, workshops and continued education are the career development options of choice. However, many seem to forget one of the most cost effective and schedule-friendly types of professional development- reading a good book.
Successful professionals should always have a good book at their fingertips. Here’s what I’ve been reading this summer…
