May 24, 2022- San-Diego based executive search firm, TurningPoint Executive Search has been retained by the Lithuanian company EKSPLA to lead its search for a new US President. EKSPLA manufacturers of lasers, laser systems, and laser components for R&D and industrial applications. This search is being lead by Melanie Strauss, Partner, Executive Search, and supported by TurningPoint President & Founder, Ken Schmitt.

EKSPLA is looking for a dynamic President to further their operations in the United States. This newly created role of President USA will be charged with expanding market presence and brand recognition, by leveraging his/her knowledge of the industry and its OEM and industrial customers.
According to the job specification, other responsibilities will include reporting directly to the Global CEO of the company in Europe, selling the company’s products in the scientific and industrial markets by building a team over time, and leveraging the company’s highly technical and customizable production team based in Europe.
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years experience of working in top managerial positions in the photonics/laser industry and a proven track record of developing new business partners and customers. EKSPLA is looking for an individual with experience in executing and designing company sales and marketing strategies who has an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to bring in new ideas to further develop concepts and ideas.
