Position

As a result of our growth, we will be launching a new contingent division, in early 2021. The new firm will focus on placing mid-level sales and marketing talent, across the U.S. and multiple industries, utilizing an exclusive, contingency model. We are looking to hire a Recruiter to lead the full recruiting process, including client management, sourcing, screening, presentation, and ultimately the negotiation of offers.

The Recruiter will be responsible for completing exclusive contingent searches. Our shared candidate database and social media accounts, allows for complete flexibility and access to each candidate within the TurningPoint community. Our newest hire will be expected to maintain ongoing contact with our candidates and clients, providing value and quality market intelligence on a consistent and ongoing basis, while building a highly reputable brand in the sales and marketing community. 

Specifically, this position will allow you to…

  • Meet with clients virtually or in person, to gather data about their open position
  • Create new searches in the CRM system to allow for thorough and complete tracking
  • Source candidates through in-depth research, relying on our proprietary database (Bullhorn), our extensive social media presence and our referral network
  • Screen resumes/bios for potential fit and ultimately conducting in depth phone and virtual screens of each candidate
  • Select the top 3-7 candidates for presentation to our client
  • Schedule weekly status updates with clients to provide market feedback, and to gauge interest on each candidate presentation
  • Scheduling candidate interviews with clients
  • Follow up with clients and candidates post-interview to move the process forward
  • Continually work with clients and candidates to negotiate compensation and start date
  • Conduct thorough reference checks, finalizing offer and start date

Additionally, in this position, you will be expected to…

  • Spend approximately 10%-15% of your time marketing to prospective clients
  • Spend 5% of your time with intakes (short, 15-20 minute phone conversations with candidates that are not being presented on any open searches)
  • Maintain the accuracy and relevance of data in the Bullhorn CRM system

The successful candidate will possess a(n)…

  • 2-6 years of recruiting/staffing experience (contingency recruiting would be a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • A history of interacting with senior leadership in the corporate suite
  • Background using LinkedIn Recruiter and/or an ATS system (strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated history of resilience, perseverance and strong work ethic in a fast-paced, fluid, deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to source, interact with and close business leaders on the value of leveraging an outside recruiting firm
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a reliance on face to face and phone communication, rather than strictly email or text
  • Proven desire to work in a flexible, work-from-home environment
  • Passion for working with professionals at all levels, across a variety of functions and industries
  • Confident, articulate and credible phone presence with a proven ability to build rapport
  • Experience and willingness to be hands on in all aspects of the business
  • Willingness to learn and share innovative ideas while questioning the status quo
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thorough data management
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency

Compensation:

  • Combination of guaranteed salary plus uncapped commission based on personal production
