Position

By leveraging our comprehensive, proprietary database, the SMLA, our broad network of referral partners, and a social media presence that ranks in the top 1% of all LinkedIn users, (6x the size of the average recruiter), our team has access to world class, industry leading and top performing talent on a national basis.

The remote Sr. Executive Recruiter will be responsible for building and maintaining our candidate database and completing retained searches.  Our shared candidate database and social media accounts, allows for complete flexibility and access to each candidate that is part of the TurningPoint community.  The Sr. Executive Recruiter will be expected to maintain ongoing contact with our candidates and clients, providing value and quality market intelligence on a consistent and ongoing basis, while building a highly reputable brand in the local, regional and national community.   

Specifically, you will leverage our unique “3-D Recruiting Process” to provide exemplary service to both clients and candidates:

  • Define the ideal candidate profile

  • Develop a target list, recruiting plan and short list

  • Deliver the best talent

Specifically, this position will allow you to…

  • Work remotely on a daily basis

  • Meet with new clients to gather data about their open position, culture and company vision

  • Develop carefully crafted and memorable job descriptions to each client prior to launching a new search

  • Create new searches in the CRM system (Bullhorn) and LinkedIn to allow for thorough and complete tracking of all activities

  • Source candidates through in-depth research, relying on our proprietary database, our extensive social media presence and our deep referral network

  • Screen resumes/bios for potential fit (typically between 50 and 150 per search)

  • Conduct in depth phone screens of each candidate (typically between 30 & 75)

  • Conduct in-person/Skype interviews of top candidates

  • Populate and present a short list of the top 4-7 candidates to our client directly, composing in depth bios to accompany each resume

  • Schedule weekly status calls/emails with clients to provide updates, market feedback, and to gauge interest on each candidate presentation

  • Managing client and candidate expectations throughout the process

  • Schedule candidate interviews with clients

  • Follow up with clients and candidate post-interview to gauge interest, answer questions and discuss next steps

  • Continually work with client and candidate to arrive at agreeable terms of employment including salary, commission, bonus, benefits, equity, car allowance and start date

  • Conduct thorough reference checks and verify higher education degrees

  • Finalize offer and start date

  • Maintain contact with our client and your placement, to ensure a lasting, long term fit

Additionally, in this position, you will be expected to…

  • Spend 10% of your time with courtesy intakes (short, 15-20 minute phone conversations with candidates that are not being presented on any open searches)

  • Maintain the accuracy and relevance of data in the Bullhorn CRM system

  • Attend 1-2 networking events/month, including the Sales & Marketing Leadership Alliance

You will be highly successful in this position if you possess…

  • 4-15 years professional recruiting experience in a professional setting, ideally placing candidates with 5+ years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (strong preference)

  • Experience interacting with senior leadership and corporate decision makers  

  • Demonstrated history of resilience, perseverance and a strong work ethic in a highly autonomous, fast-paced, multi-tasking and business-savvy corporate setting

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a reliance on face to face and phone communication, rather than email or text

  • Proven desire to work in a fluid, flexible, work-from-home environment

  • Passion for working with professionals at all levels, across a variety of functions and industries

  • Confident, articulate, persuasive and strong phone presence

  • Proven ability to build rapport quickly

  • Experience and willingness to be hands on in all aspects of the business

  • Willingness to learn and share innovative ideas while questioning the status quo

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thorough data management

  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and project manage effectively
