Senior Account Executive (Remote)

Location: Remote | Job # 699 | Category: Sales- Business Development

This position will focus on expanding and supporting Sales in North America by using enterprise class sales skills to identify, develop and close revenue generating opportunities. This position will be responsible for both account development in new markets, as well as expanding business with existing customers in North America.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new relationships and revenue from Tier 1, 2, and 3 carriers, PayTV operators, content owners and major broadcasters within the North American region
  • Maintain strong client relationships with existing clients and strategic accounts within the North American region
  • Work in a complex, virtual, team environment crossing geographic boundaries
  • Achieve sales goals in an autonomous, goal driven environment
  • Identify, connect and leverage key decision-makers at critical sales cycle stages
  • Develop and close identified sales opportunities
  • Conduct executive level presentations and/or demonstrations that may require interaction and coordination with marketing, engineering, finance, legal and other company support staff
  • Provide technical product information, presentations, proposals and quotations to prospective clients and teams
  • Proactively forecast and achieve revenue to meet/exceed account targets
  • Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand
  • Maintain and develop indirect sales channels
  • Ensure all current client information is captured accurately and regularly in the CRM system
  • Foster and engage with relevant industry and stakeholder relationships and networks
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years sales experience selling media technology (software or hardware) to enterprise broadcasters, content owners and/or pay-tv operators in North America
  • Understanding of industry specific trends and landscape and associated sales cycles
  • Self-motivated and self-directed work ethic, with a desire to make an immediate impact
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to articulate added value proposals
  • Strong understanding of how to position products against competitors
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • BA in business administration or related field
 

TRAVEL: Travel will be required more than 50% of time
