Our client is a globally recognized automotive parts maker that is focusing its resources on the automobile industry of the future, which will be characterized by autonomous driving, connectivity and electrification solutions. Its business scope encompasses key automotive parts, the three major modules (chassis modules, cockpit modules and front-end modules) and after-sales service. It was the first among its competitors to establish an integrated mass-production system for making the key parts of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and has ramped up its capacity to achieve economies of scale. JOB PURPOSE:
The Sr National Manager of the Accessory Business Unit provides vision, strategic direction, and leadership to the organization to drive efficiencies, productivity, and profitability in alignment with company objectives. This position promotes and advocates for collaboration and coordination within the business unit, company, and with external partners within the Client’s Group such as the HQ, and the other entities. The Sr. National Manager will oversee multiple departments within the business unit which include Product Planning, Sales, Engineering, Development, QA, Warranty, Purchasing and Program Management. The Sr. National Manager will aim to deliver timely results in all aspects of the business unit whilst maintain open communication channel with executive leadership team.

The areas of focus include but are not limited to:

  • Development and execution of strategic business plans.
  • Achievement of established sales targets both Port Installed and Dealer Installed accessories.
  • Optimization of profitability through various cost reduction and market research activities.
  • Create product plans and customer requirements to solidify genuine accessory portfolio.
  • Transparent procurement processes including sourcing and vendor selections.
  • Development of accessories in accordance with established processes and specifications.
  • Quality assurance that conform to industry standards and execution of warranty programs.
  • Advocate for synergies, communication and coordination amongst stake holders and business unit.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Ensure business unit departments set and achieves business plan (KPIs) on department and company level.
  • Provide leadership to all business unit departments; Product Planning, Engineering, Development, Purchasing, PM, QA, Sales.
  • Accomplish the key objectives of the on-time launch and lifecycle management.
  • Initiate and maintain extensive contacts with key internal and external suppliers and customers.
  • Coordinate solutions and improvement among internal department as well as with coordinators & CEO.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of the products and execute the implementation of the designed products in compliance with the protocols of development.
  • Ensure the quality of products that meet industry standards and customer requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
  • Strong levels of strategic planning, communication and problem solving in order to create and implement action plans to achieve targets.
  • 10+ years automotive parts and accessory sales.
  • 10+ years of automotive strategic planning and organization development.
  • Automotive accessory development.
  • Conceptual engineering & marketing.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytic, organizational and planning skills.

Anticipated compensation range: $150k-$300k
