Our client is a specialty retail clothing company with 90+ stores nationwide.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The VP of Marketing is a senior executive reporting to the COO, leading the marketing team and strategy to achieve business goals. They shape the brand vision, drive customer acquisition, and oversee marketing operations, supporting Merchandising, Ecommerce, and Store Operations. This role demands strong leadership, collaboration, and a focus on improving the customer experience and partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the client’s culture and uphold their mission, vision, and values.
  • Act as a specialized Marketing Business Partner, offering key support to the company.
  • Develop strategies for products and services to boost brand awareness, customer retention, and store traffic.
  • Implement an effective loyalty program.
  • Encourage creativity and quality within the marketing department.
  • Evaluate advertising trends and styles for effectiveness.
  • Analyze KPIs and metrics for optimal marketing ROI.
  • Research competitors to stay ahead in market trends.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Ecommerce teams for successful business outcomes.
  • Work with executives to enhance business efficiency.
  • Determine content types and Visual Merchandising Standards with the Creative Director.
  • Make brand-centric decisions for customer satisfaction.
  • Manage marketing budgets and talent within the department.
  • Prioritize tasks, foster teamwork, and motivate cross-functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing experience, 8+ years in marketing leadership.
  • 5+ years of retail experience.
  • Expertise in multi-channel brand development.
  • Proven success in designing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong track record in brand building.
  • Proficiency in Digital Marketing, CRM, SEO, and Analytics.
  • Skilled in Mac OS, Adobe CCS, Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Collaborative and results-driven.

Anticipated compensation $190k-210k plus bonus.
